Kainos and DVLA triumph at Techworld Awards!

Last night, Kainos and DVLA triumphed at the Techworld awards, taking the prize in the Digital and Creative Project of the Year category.

The Integrated Enquiry Platform is of the UK government's early 'Exemplar' projects and has drawn attention across the media, from citizens and from industry. It represents a number of very impressive 'firsts' it was the first agile project in DVLA, and the first to deploy applications and data in the cloud. Recognising both products and users, the Techworld Awards highlight innovation in the IT industry. This award is particularly special as it references the creativity which made the project so successful.

Mike Simons, Editor of Techworld presented the award and said of the event 'This year's Techworld awards have been the most difficult yet to judge. The standard of entries is higher than ever and everyone who made the shortlist has demonstrated outstanding professionalism.'

Other winners in the Techworld Awards include Skyscape Cloud and Trident Social Investment Group. For more information, visit the awards website.
