I have been working with customers to help them understand their data and its quality, as well as analysis to provide insights and highlight the potential to make data driven decisions. I also worked on an internal discovery for Kainos investigating how we communicate and collaborate across the company using text mining and sentiment analysis techniques.
Graduate Data Scientist
For the first few months of my graduate job, I project-managed our fifth annual AppCamp. I learned a lot and upskilled in many areas and these are skills that I will carry with me through my career.
I was attracted to Kainos because of the people, the variety of the projects available and the work culture. In my time as a Graduate Software Engineer since graduating, I’ve learned so much – from various technologies, interpersonal skills, industry awareness, to business knowledge.
You might think Kainos could be a daunting place for an 18-22 year-old, but it’s actually the opposite. Younger staff members are supported and treated just like everyone else – including the directors. They are empowered with responsibility and given opportunities to progress.
