Head of Workday Change Management Capability

The Head of Workday Change Management Capability within the Kainos Worksmart BU will be responsible for leading the Change Management function in the Workday implementation practice, managing Change Management consultants across all our Workday engagements, as well as personally leading Change Management effort on large and high-profile projects.

Principal Activities:

  • Defining the Workday Change Management offering
  • Setting standards and disseminating best practices across the Workday Change Management function across all Kainos Worksmart locations
  • Leading sales activities, estimating effort and presenting our Workday Change Management capability to prospective customers
  • Recruiting, developing and mentoring Workday Change Management consultants
  • Leading the Workday Change Management effort on one or more large and/or high-profile Workday implementation projects
  • Acting as a role model for the Workday Change Management function within the practice and in front of customers
  • Helping the resource management function ensure that our consultant pool is used in the most commercially advantageous way, balancing also development needs and personal preferences
  • Managing training and development requirements for Workday Change Management consultants within the practice
  • Delivering to a (shadow) sales target for Change Management activities

Qualifications and Competencies:

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • Workday HCM Certification
  • At least 5 years’ experience leading Change Management work streams within large scale Business and HRIS Transformation programmes
  • Experience of working in partnership with clients, to lead the Change Management project within Workday implementation programmes
  • Experience of Workday Change Management methodology and deliverables
  • Experience of developing and mentoring more junior consultants
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Excellent customer manner and credibility, including the ability to formally present to senior client and conference audiences
  • Broad business & technology experience, and a good awareness of industry trends and their potential impact on current & future Workday Change Management projects
  • Strong commercial awareness and sound understanding of project and business dynamics
  • An education to degree level

While we will attempt to base you on projects near or at your contracted office location, you need to be willing to travel to client sites and spend time away during the week if it is required.
