This April, Belfast saw delegates from all over the country RSVP to attend the Belfast Technology Conference (BelTech 2014), held over three days. Billed as the ‘premier high tech event of 2014’, the event was curated by digital technology solutions company, Kainos, and delivered speakers from across the world, including technology experts and politicians. Topics covered included everything from recruitment in digital to big data and the impact that could have on us all.

In our second highlighted key session, Kainos’s CTO Tom Gray chairs a discussion on Agile methodology. The concept, coined in 2001, has made a huge impact on how software solutions are built, and how developers, engineers and business owners work together – more recently, we see it having a huge impact on how our government deals with IT development.

Watch our video where Tom Gray talks to engineers and business stakeholders, the panel discuss the benefits of Agile practices and their experience with working in Agile environments in ‘The Importance of Being Agile.’
